Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with depressed and crimped hinge with a vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Hermann Aurich, Dresden, measuring 44. 73 mm (w) x 60.
