Salvatore Marino 'Turi' Vermouth Rosso, 2022 meursault An excellent introduction to RedThis Vermouth Rosso is made from 100% Catarratto, a white grape from Sicily. It is a pale tawny color, due to the juice sitting in contact with the skins for 5 days, and an infusion of absinthe, mugwort, gentian, quinine, rhubarb, vanilla, wild thyme, wild fennel, orange peel and more. This is all blended, sweetened slightly, and fortified up to 17%, perfect as a digestivo or with your favorite vermouth based cocktail, spritz, negroni, etc.
