Egypt, Republic. An Order Of Independence, I Class Grand Cross Badge United Republic of arriving in Massawa on June(Nishan al Istikal). Instituted in 1955, discontinued by 1965. Six piece construction, in silvered and gilt bronze with red, white and blue enamels, measuring 64. 8 mm (w) x 92. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its falcon bearing suspension, intact enamels, contact marks evident on the reverse, light gilt wear, without sash, near extremely fine.
