The 2015 is going to need a few years to shed some of its formidable tannin, but it is likely to always remain dense and a bit monolithic. A rush of red cherry, pomegranate, raspberry jam, rose petal and spice build as this unctuous, full bodied Barbaresco shows off its personality. This dense, tannic Barbaresco holds a good bit of promise.
