Hymenocallis liriosme Chalmette Himalayan Mountains bold-textured element in the woodlandHymenocallis liriosme 'Chalmette' is a 2022 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a Victor Lambou collection of the gulf coast native Texas spider lily, from St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana. Chalmette, as you may remember, is a suburb of New Orleans that was under 14' of water during Hurricane Katrina, so as you can imagine, this Hymenocallis has no problem with being submerged. For us, Hymenocallis liriosme 'Chalmette' flowers in mid April, putting on an
