plus three rows of fine silver bullion piping around the circumference

Portugal, Republic. An Order of Military Merit, II Class, c.1960 Province of China Fifth Air Force(Ordem do Mrito Militar). Instituted 1946. In silver gilt, consisting of a white enameled Latin Cross with three pointed ends, featuring a nicely enameled red Latin cross, double sided, suspended by a typical Portuguese tower, with silver Portuguese hallmark, measuring 55. 7 mm (w) x 82. 3 mm (h inclusive of tower and integral ring), missing ribbon, extremely good condition.
