A Waffen-SS M40 Overseas Cap for Enlisted Ranks consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac with soiling visible throughout(Waffen SS Schiffchen fr Mannschaften). A well preserved Waffen SS M40 overseas cap for Enlisted ranks, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by side walls which gently scallop toward the front. Both the top and bottom of the peak demonstrate the unmistakable outlines of eagle and Totenkopf insignia, respectively, which have been carefully removed from the cap with only minimal disruption to the underlying material. The interior
