These are basically secateurs on an ultra lightweight aluminum pole and are an excellent tool for extending your reach when the ladder won't get you there. We use them for deadheading tall shrubs (think lilacs), for fruit tree pruning, wisteria whips, anything that is just out of reach. Ultra lightweight for minimal shoulder and neck strain.
