Etruscan Revival Leo Lion Intaglio Zodiac Pendant operculum and in RussiaDATE: Victorian, c. 1870 Cool larger scale Etruscan Revivalist zodiac pendant dating from the latter half of the 19th century. It features an oval lapis panel carved with a Leo intaglio, the lion stretched out mid pounce. It's mounted in sterling silver, with applied ropework and beadwork border with two bails for wear on a chain.
